"We have pollutant skin"

it's a project that would show how the plastic's impact damage our nature. Governments and local communities mismanage 28% of their waste and those who escape has the high probability of spilling into rivers or seas. Mediterranean companies market 38 million tonnes of plastic products every year, without covering the costs of managing excessive waste that contribute to generate. We need to do something to bring the collective thinking closer to the pollution that we ourselves are producing towards the planet.

So I started making plastic body casts, a second skin that we carry around and that we leave in nature. A skin that does not decompose. You can see the harmony of nature violated by the presence of these plastic bodies. The body becomes a presence that creates a heaviness in the landscapes in front of the observer.

In the video I was at the Maggiore's Lake, one of the most pollutant lake in Italy.
